Reading ResponseIn this activity student would be provided with an article about a topic relevant to their current studies. While reading, students would be asked to considers particular questions, prompts, opinions or ideas. Students would then record their response digitally via docs, drawings, or forms.

Digital Book ReviewIn this activity, students will create a digital review of a book and post it to a classroom blog. When reviewing students should use textual evidence and personal experience to help support their opinion.

Vocabulary BloggingWhen completing a blog post, students will use Tier 2 and Tier 3 vocabulary to enhance their writing. Students will then blog and/or post about the vocabulary words providing definitions and examples of words as they align the meaning in context.
